The Suspicious Transaction Reporting Guide (“Guide”) was published by the Turkish Financial Crimes Investigation Board (“MASAK”) to regulate the procedures and principles for crypto asset service providers to send suspicious transaction report electronically.
The Guide contains detailed information on the processes for sending suspicious transaction reports electronically, and on how to arrange suspicious transaction reporting forms.
As of 18/04/2022, crypto asset service providers will send suspicious transaction reports within the scope of the principles and procedures specified in the Guide.
Suspicious transactions will be reported to Masak within ten working days from the date of suspicion regarding the suspicious transaction by the obligates.
